CNC Engraving Machine, CNC Router

A CNC engraving machine or CNC router refers to a CNC tool for composites, aluminum, steel, plastics, wood and foams. As an experienced CNC engraving machine manufacturer in China, we primarily manufacture CNC engravers and CNC routers for using in woodworking, advertising and more industries.

A CNC router comes in many configurations ranged from small home style desktop router to the large gantry CNC engraving machine used in shipbuilding facilities. Although there are various configurations, most CNC router have a few common parts which are a dedicated CNC controller, one or more spindle motors, AC inverters, and a table.

CNC routers are generally available in 3 axis and 5 axis formats.
Run by a computer, CNC engraving machine can upload coordinates into the controller from a separate program. There are usually two programs available. One is used to make designs and the other functions to upload designs to the machine and run it. CNC router can be controlled directly by manual programming, but its full potential can only be achieved through CAD and CAM software.

Manufacturing processes become more flexible when using a CNC engraving machine. To illustrate, CNC tools can be used in door carvings, interior and exterior decorations, wood panels, sign boards, wooden frames, moldings, musical instruments, furniture manufacturing and more, and make these operation much quicker and easier. In addition, the CNC router makes thermo-forming of plastics easier by automating the trimming processes.
